I am 17 and looking to be put on my fathers insurance. The automobile is a 1.4 Renault Clio and the cheapest quote is £1600. How do you get them to take the price down when talking to them on the phone? Also I have had a bike for a couple of years with my own insurance, will this make a difference?

It takes forever to get a quote so Im gonna see what your view is on this. My license is suspended because I was pulled over & didnt have insurance. In order for me to get it back I have to show proof of insurance. I dont own a automobile anymore so I guess I have to get non owners insurance? Would it be cheaper to have my boyfriend add me to his insurance? I have a horrible driving record, about 5 tickets or so, and the automobile he drives is a 2004 GTO. Can anyone reccomend an auto insurance to cover my car while visiting Mexico?
I have Progressive , but they will only cover 20miles in from the border. We are traveling all the way into Michoacan, so that will not help. I just want to know if anyone can refer me to a legitimate auto insurance for taking your car into Mexico.
