I guess they want a credit report as they want to make a learned guess about you before deciding how big a risc you are and subsequently quoting you a price.
I didn’t know it hurts your credit score each time someone accesses the details, are you sure of this? I say this because each time my car insurance is due for renewal I spend 2 weeks or more getting quotes from just about every insurer in the country and my score is spotless. I do the same with the cable company and a few other things, my credit is pulled 1000 times each year yet it’s still spotless.
How can it be any different since I have never had any issues and all my bills are on autopay with money in the bank to cover them?
