Mate, I don’t think anyone is going to insure a blind driver, hate to tell you. Because the chance of accidents happening is probably 100%, and no insurance company is going to take that risk.

$1,000,000.00 per year should do it.
However getting a license might present a problem, then no insurance available.

What type of blind? I’m sure if its one eye or only a small percentage of blindness, there has to be some type of policy. I ‘m assuming no matter what…that its going to be pricy. Good luck!

What a talented blind guy!! If I lost my eyesight I don’t know if I’d be able to gather the strength to navigate the internet and pose a question on Yahoo Answers.

If you ARE serious, there are companies that will insure your vehicle – as long as you have a sighted driver.
I have a couple of clients that had their license before an injury caused their vision impairment and companies realize that you still owned a car or that you maintain your license for identification purposes.
Call around and find a local independent agent that should be able to help you. If that doesn’t work for you, call Progressive Direct.
Good luck and I hope this helps!
