I would recommend purchasing insurance over the phone so you can talk to a real human and ask any questions that you may have. When you are commiting to an auto insurance policy, you need to make sure you fully understand the terms and agreement.
Before you call up just any insurance company, make sure you do your research online. I would recommend comparing 3-5 quotes from different insurance companies. Filling out quotes online is much quicker than having to call and wait to talk to a person on the phone. Once you have compared quotes and found the cheapest insurance company for you, then call them and purchase your auto insurance policy. Make sure you keep up the quote you got online just in case they try to offer you a higher rate over the phone. Being prepared and shopping around is the best way to get the cheapest auto insurance.
