I don’t know exactly what the cheapest would be for you personally.. Florida insurance is expensive though. I have Esurance, which is based mainly on the computer. Being under 25 my insurance is still high, and my car is brand new so I have to have full coverage. You should shop around. I contacted several places before deciding on them, they were by far the cheapest and their service has been wonderful. If you call the number on the website someone will work with you and give you rates.. So far (I have had them for about 2 years now) my rate has decreased by almost half and they are very easy to work with…

That’ll be a crap-shoot! You are gonna have to shop all the companies in FL for your best rate! Try using the online stuff to get an idea, and then give two or three a call and see if you can do better. It’s expensive!

I also live in Florida.
I’ve had great rates with Progressive. I also only just received my driver’s license when I applied for insurance.
I would avoid Geico. While their rates are cheaper than Progressive’s, Geico is known for taking forever to process their claims, which means if your car is totalled or you need medical reimbursement after an accident, it may take a while before you receive any help from Geico.

It all depends on type of vehicle, credit, age, driving history, etc. No one can tell you what company will be the cheapest when there are so many factors that come into effect. Your best bet is to shop around. Call up an independent insurance agent in your town as they have access to many different companies.

I think it will be quite expensive as your wife is an inexperienced driver. The best way to find out is to just get online insurance quotes. This will compare all companies in your area and help you find the cheapest company. Since insurance is very individual, this is the best way to go.
