Purchase automobile insurance online?
Where can I buy automobile insurance online? I heard that this can be done and would really save me a lot of time and hassle. But I would need to do a comparison first. Or is there any automobile insurance companies that you guys would recommend? I am from Indiana by the way.

There are a number of insurance companies that sell insurance online. The most famous is Progressive http://www.progressive.com but others do so as well. Allstate, Say Farm, esurance.
A good place to begin would be a comparison site like insurance.com http://www.insurance.com.
However, if you have a good driving record and good credit, I’d advocate Erie Insurance http://www.erieinsurance.com They can provide you a quote online, but only sell through agents. But they are cheap as they do not advertise and only take good drivers.

Also, what I have found is everytime my insurance renews… I go out and quote with about 5 different companies….
