AAA offers auto insurance in CA.
It was cheaper than anyone else that quoted me & I have my home owner’s insurance tied to it which gives me another discount.
I was with Progressive, by switching to AAA it saved me about 33%

Well if you have a lot of tickets AAA will not take you. Full coverage is part of buying a car on time. The best coverage at the best price could be AAA. But there are others out there i`m sure are just as good. But AAA will take payments. The other ones will take only 6 months at a time as far as price goes. (AAA vs other discounters) You insurance fees are based on where you live how many miles you drive per year. How long you have had your drivers lic. Your age. And last but not least have you had any tickets within three years or accidents. Good luck with your new car purchase. I`m sure we will see you here asking about the maintenace of it.

yes, u need to have full coverage it protect u as well.. yes the year has something to do with it.. the mileage on the car has no effect.. how far u travel each day does,
plates? no.. that has no effect..
tickets ..? yes..
full coverage? yes
ins co? try several and don’t necessarily take the cheapest one..!!! YOU get what u pay for, and if u are in a accident, then u want to be treated correctly..
good luck, my friend, happy holidays.

BigM,
Geico (and others cost are dependent upon your zip code) is likely the cheapest – based on rate comparisons I did after moving out east. Your insurance cost is also dependent upon how much you intend to drive the car (in miles, daily). There is some calculation used based on this that also compares the density of population to the zip code you are in. I would strongly recommend that you obtain full coverage while you are paying for the car. In addition to this to make your monthly bill lower you could request a higher deductible. The higher the deductible – the lower the monthly charge, but do this only as a last resort. If you get into a wreck the deductible (out of pocket) expenses can really eat at your pocket book/savings – at least short term.
Have a wonderful day – now you have a car to take those terrific kids of yours to school in. Blow a kiss for me toward those Rocky Mountains of yours and in the direction of the west, maybe one will land in Los Angeles with my name on it.
Your friend,
Gerry

1. TRY PROGRESSIVE.
2. YES THE YEAR WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN PRICE.
3. THE CITY AND ZIP CODE WILL MAKE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE AS WELL.
4. YES THEY WILL ASK ABOUT YOUR TICKETS AND YOU MUST BE HONEST BECAUSE THEY WILL FIND OUT AND BACK CHARGE YOU THE DIFFERENCE.
5. YES YOU HAVE TO HAVE FULL COVERAGE WHILE MAKING PAYMENTS.

I would have to State Farm, With them you get great customer service, excellent and expedient claim handlings, always some one there to help you as most offices are availble 24 hours a day 7 days a week, via phone and internet or in the office. They value their customers and have quite a few discounts that can save you a ton of money. What more could you want from a company.
