Question by Bob:
Help with renewing automobile insurance when buying a new automobile very soon?

My automobile insurance is due for renewal in the next couple of weeks but in June we were planning on buying a new car. What is the ideal way to deal with this situation? If I purchase new insurance, do I just transfer it across to a new automobile and pay extra if it costs more? Will I have to stick to the same insurance company because a different automobile might cost a lot more to insure with them?

Currently, keep making payments. then after you purchase the new car, let the provider know the information. Be sure you take the plates off of the old car. At your own convenience, decide which company you want as your insurer. Also, even if you wait a week to tell the company, your new automobile is still insured. You could even call now and let them know you will be shopping around and was wondering about rate changes. Who knows, business as it is, there might be room for negotiation. There is no harm in trying. In my case, call me crazy, I just like to be insured by the ideal company. I do not even take a reduction by making my deduction 0 or more. What changes the rates are the type of car, and your location. So, when I lived in the city, they raised my rates. When I got divorced, they raised my rates. However, they calculate, they win. The ideal company guarantees replacement parts of the same brand, and provides a lifetime guarantee of the work done. I also, purchase the automobile rental insurance with the most days. Why I pay so much, is that I weigh the cost of the insurance against any aggravation I might feel at a time of stress. If you have more questions, please post again.
