your rate will go up whether you pay your ticket or not because it will show up on your MVR and your driving record is what affects your rate
you can expect at least a 10% increase in rate

taking driving school may take the points off your record, but the insurance company still counts them. However, if it’s your first ticket, most will forgive ONE. it’ll go up around 12%, usually. Call your agent.

It’ll probably be at least a couple hundred dollars. Your best bet is to go to court if you can and they can decrease it to 2 points and you’ll just pay more up front. It’s the best way to go, methinks, since you’ll be paying more for your car insurance for awhile.

one never knows some times it goes up sometimes it dont hard to say i had to wrecks a week a part mine when up 20 bucks and one wasnt my fault have not had a speeding ticket in 30 yrs and i drive 80 best move with flow of traffic

Unfortunately no one can answer you that, not even your company. You will not know until your renewal date. But I can say that you may not see a huge difference if that is the only ticket you have, and you are getting other discounts. Sometimes depending on how long you have had the policy they will not charge you for one ticket, but I can’t speak for Progressive.

No real way to tell.You can take driver school so you don’t get points on your license and your rates won’t go up. But you would have had to tell them that when paying the ticket.
