How do you get proof of automobile insurance without a car?
I had my brother listed as a driver on my insurance policy and he is moving so will no longer be using my car. The insurance company is requiring that I show proof of insurance before removing him from the policy. They are telling me there is no other way to remove him from the policy due to a DUI charge. Is it even possible to get automobile insurance without a car? What should I do?
I have been in contact again with the insurance company and here is what they wrote back “The only proof we can accept to remove young driver’s is Proof of
Other Insurance.” What is the age limit on a young driver? My brohter is 24.

What is the least amount of automobile insurance I need to have on a automobile that doesn’t have a loan on it?
I live in Wisconsin and havent had insurance in about four years. I am getting married in six months and my fiance’s insurance agent stated that I should get insurance now, six months before the wedding, so that once we get married and I get added onto his insurance, I will not raise his insurance since I am considered high risk since I havent had insurance the last six months or more. So, if I get insurance on my won for six months, it will be high risk for those six months, but then six montsh from now, I will not be high risk, which will be good becasue six months from now is when i would get married and added onto his insurance.
Now, I am going to get insurance on a automobile that doesn’t have a loan on it, and I am wondering how much insurance I need? What is the least amount of insurance I could get on my car, so that in six months I will not be high risk anymore?
P.S. I live in Wisconsin, where it is not illegal if you do not have insurance on your car.

How does rental automobile insurance offered by credit card companies (when you use the card) work?
I have credit cards which state they cover me for rental automobile insurance when I use the card to make the full payment for the rental. How does that work? Are there any catches? Does it make sense for me to get the additional insurance from the rental bureau (like Avis)? If I am in an accident, will the Credit Card insurance cover everything or will it also be charged to my regular automobile insurance company?

Can the auto insurance company pay me directly for my medical expenses or do they have to pay the doctor?
I was in an auto accident and I have medical insurance. My medical insurance covered my medical expenses; however, I wanted to know if the auto insurance is still liable for those expenses? It seems as if my having medical insurance should benefit me and not the liable party’s auto insurance company. If I did not have medical insurance the auto insurance company would still have to pay for those expenses. So shouldn’t they still have to pay for those expenses and I get what ever is left that my medical insurance company did not pay? Are there any laws statures that back this up in Georgia? I am trying to settle this claim without getting an attorney and I need all the help I can get. Any advice would be helpful. I am in the process of writing a demand letter. Thanks for all the help.

Where do automobile insurance companies get your driving record in CA?
I hit a guys bumper while driving a company automobile a couple of years ago and I thought he filed a claim but the company took care of it and I never heard about it again. I am getting automobile insurance and I pulled my driving record from the DMV and all I have is a seatbelt violation but no accidents. Is there another database somewhere that insurance companies will check or is it just your DMV record? Maybe this all got settled without insurance intervention and I dont’ want to pay higher fees if its not necessary. Am I in the clear?
