Getting automobile insurance these days is getting ridiculous…I’ve gotten quotes for $ 500, etc. but there has to be something cheaper out there. I dont have a car but i need to be insured as a driver. I cant find any auto insurance places that grant this. I have tried Allstate, Progressive, Geico….the only one that will do it is the General. Do you know of any others? I wuold atleast like to know if I have more options b4 i sign onto the General.

Well, My family hit a deer on the freeway approximately 3 years ago. We went home and called to tell them that we were in an accident like we were supposed to do. Well a day or 2 later, they would not do anything to help us pay to get a new automobile because it was totaled. Has anybody ever had this problem with this insurance company? Does anybody know any websites that can estimate the value of my car?
One of the things I am asked about when applying for automobile insurance is how much my automobile is worth. It was worth £4700 in 2007 so since this was two years ago, I would envision that price would have fallen now and I do not want to pay extra on my insurance by over-evaluating the valuation of my car. (I am aware the difference wont be large but I am looking to save as much as possible).
