Why does a job application ask if you have auto insurance?
I am applying for a delivery truck position. On the application, it asks if you have auto insurance. Are you supposed to have your own insurance when driving for a company, or do they have their own insurance on all of their trucks?
Also, I worked for a temp. bureau as my last job.. I have been applying for quite a few jobs lately, but I have not gotten any calls back.. Is it alright to call the temp. bureau to find out what they have in my file, or what they tell potential employers when the call?

What happens if accidently I gave false information to my automobile insurance during the application process?
I was under the impression that my 2003 automobile had ABS (anti lock braking system) because my automobile dealer told me so, I purchased it used. Accordingly during the on the web application for my automobile insurance I stated that my automobile has an ABS System. Pretty soon after that I discovered that my automobile does not have such a system. I would like to inform my insurance because I do not want to have problems in case there is an accident. But will they cancel my insurance if I tell them the truth?
