hi im planning on buying a automobile from a local Insurance Auto Auction. I know that the automobile is a salvage title and the photos they have shown are the photos of the automobiles damage, but i wanted to know if they repair the automobile before they put it up for bidding or do they sell the automobile damaged and the buyer has to repair the car.

Forgot to pay auto insurance this month until a few hours before the cancellation time (noon today). Am I OK?
I did not receive my Farmers auto insurance notice/threat of cancellation until today. Raced to my personal and submitted the payment around 9:00am today, which was the day given on the threat of cancellation notice as “will be cancelled at noon on July 15″. Am I still okay? I’d ask my agent, but he is useless–doesn’t call me back or answer his phone.

Moving in 1.5 months and getting a automobile – Should i purchase before or after for automobile insurance?
I’m planning to purchase a automobile but I am moving to a new place in 1.5-2 months. Question is, should I purchase the automobile while i’m still at my current address, or wait til I move to the new place?
My concern is the automobile insurance. I have heard people having problems with their insurance when they change their address. If I get a automobile now and get it insured before moving, would not my insurance be based on my original address? would my future address be factored in instead? Or should i save myself the hassle, and wait it out til i move to the new place before getting the automobile + insurance?
Is it also possible to just purchase the car, stash it on my future place (the place would be pretty much unoccupied for 2-3 weeks coz of repair + last month on my current add) or register/insure it under my new add even if i’m not staying there yet?
