So I am a 16 year old driver. my family has three cars. a lexus GX470, a Toyota Land Cruiser, and a saturn sky. I am insured on the Toyota and not the saturn because the difference insurance increases. ($ 75 compared to around $ 250) Can I drive the saturn and the lexus without being insured on those cars? And if so what are the limitations.

How can i keep a speeding ticket from being on my record?
I’m 25 and just got my first speeding ticket. 44 in a 25 in Virginia. I do not mind paying the fine as much as I mind my insurance going up so I’d like to find a way to get this taken care of. My court date is not til Dec 23. Can I do an on the web traffic school course or something to get out of it? Or is there something I can state in court that will help? I know if I show up for the court date I will probably get my fine reduced. It happened at around 11:30 at night and I was going downhill. The cop was pretty nice and I am sure he left it at 44 so I would not get a reckless driving. I was just driving on auto-pilot on my way home from work so I do not really know how fast I was going. I shoulda known it was quota time though after I saw 8 people pulled over on I-81 when there are usually no cops at all.

I recently bought a automobile and would like to get it on the road. However, I have a 6.5 hour class daily that I cannot really afford to miss. (Even for a few hours.) Would my parents be able to go and get automobile insurance (I will be on their insurance) and register my automobile at the DMV without me being there in person? I am living in NY if this makes a difference.

I am being sued 1 year after automobile wreck and I had auto insurance?
My question(s) are this: I was at a stop light waiting on the light to turn to a green arrow, I behind this truck and we both went under the light. The next thing I know, my automobile was spinning and I hit the steering wheel. I went to check on the other people to see if they were ok and they were very rude to me claiming I ran the red light when I didn’t, The police came and it ws thier word against mine and I got the ticket.( no witnesses) This was my first wreck and I have been driving since 1987. I sat there and watched these people climb out of there SUV into the ambulance I later looked up thier names on the web and sure enough, these people have sued about 5 people in the past 7 years. Both the man and his wife sued the hospital. The wife later sued a clothing store for Prejudism and lost. Her and her husband both sued for another automobile wreck about 3 years ago and lost it and 2 years ago they sued another insurance company for damages not paid. Now, one year later after the automobile wreck, I got a letter saying they are suing me.( my name was on the lawsuit). They are claiming debilitating injuries and mental discomfort but yet they wait 1 year to the date of the wreck to file suit. I was also injured in the wreck. I ended up with whiplash and my chest hit the sterring wheel but I never tried to sue anyone. I think that is the problem with this country. People are sue crazy and we wonder why things are the way they are now. My question is this: Do I need a lawyer when we go to court? I do not really have the money for a lawyer. I am a mom trying to go back to college and trying to raise a mentally handicap son. I also lost my automobile as a result of this automobile wreck and had to drop out of college for 7 months so I lost things too. I was served last Wednesday and I took the suit papers to my insurance company but I have not heard anything back from them. Everyone is telling me the worse that could happen is a judgement( which will give me bad credit) I am already struggling to get through school and raise my family and now this lawsuit. They cant take much if I dont have anything to give. I have this feeling that these people caused the wreck and are in the business of making wrecks happen but I have no proof because I got the ticket in the wreck and I paid the ticket last year. I guess I am screwed. I just pray that the judge will look at the past suits from these people and see how they like to make money the simple way.
