I put in a credit app online. The dealership called me, I went to them to look at the cars.. They worked out how much my downpayment would be and how much my trade in value was. I am a first time buyer, so I was required to have full coverage insurance. I told them it’d take a few days for me to get the insurance b/c I had to get the money. I came in a few days to sign all the paperwork for the automobile and give them the downpayment. I went back 3 days later (Friday) to provide my proof of ins (after paying $ 500 for it), signed the title over from my trade in to them and got the car. I receive a call from the dealership on the following monday adv i was not approved and had to bring the automobile back or get a co signor.
This does not seem legal to me? Anyone have any advise?

how can I drive the automobile off the lot if I do not have insurance? I am lost…can somebody help me solve this problem? Thank you.
I’m 28…but as you can tell I have not a clue about all that goes into buying a car. I just got my license less than a year ago. I got approved for my loan to pay for the car…have to go for my appt at the bank Monday. But I do not have the insurance…I’ve tried calling about quotes but since I am a new driver and never had insurance before they stated I needed to purchase the automobile before I could get a quote. Is that right, if so how can you drive the automobile off the lot without insurance. It doesn’t make sense at all. Please help me. I would really appreciate it.

I just got pre-approval for an auto loan. I do not even have a automobile in mind yet. My question is when do I contact insurance companies? Should I look at cars, pick on I like, and then contact automobile insurance companies about quotes or should I call them before I even go browsing? Im just a tiny lost.
Also, I hear automobile insurance is flipping crazy for young men. Im a 22/Male in New Mexico so if anyone has insight or recommendations I would appreciate it

I’m looking into buying a used car. Under $ 8,000.
Please recommend any automobile brands and names that are inexpensive to drive (and insure, if possible.) Automobile insurance is a fortune, especially being young. I already know “family cars” are slightly cheaper to insure.
Carmax in my say is a rip-off compared to other automobile dealers I have seen. I will have to finance, I do not have $ 8,000 cash so I cannot purchase privately (I doubt the seller wants loaned money..could be wrong but…)

I am living in Switzerland as student , i searched on world wide web the prices of automobile is good , but when i go to gallery in Lugano prices are very costly , i really do not comprehend this !
