If i FULLY crash a new 335i the insurance company would cover all of it right? but waht if I crash a used 335i automobile that i purchased for $ 38,000 would they only pay what they think the used automobile is worth? like if it states its worth $ 20,000 on theirs would i have to pay the rest of it to the bank instead of the insurance company?

Im looking at insuring my first car, and on websites such as go compare and compare the market im getting £3000-£4000 quotes for third celebration fire and theft whereas co-op are offering me fully comp for £1900! It doesnt add up
@Nick my automobile is an MG ZR so its costly to insure anyway, and excess on co op is £250

what are the motorcycle insurance fees where you live, compared with automobile insurance?
I mean the minimum required by law in your country. in some places it’s only medical coverage in case of accident, in others third-party insurance is mandatory as well – please elaborate in your answers.
I ask because where I live (Israel), it would cost 3 times as much to buy mandatory insurance for a 250CC bike than for a compact car, and the bike fees are going to get yet higher soon – so I wanted to learn how it goes in other countries.

Mr. “ride all year”, I ask this only because the insurance companies here claim that even as it is, with the bike insurance being 3 times as much as automobile insurance (insurance that only cover possible injuries both to the driver and third side, but no property damage whatsoever) – the insurance companies claim that the risk the bikers pose is yet higher than that. I just wanted to know whether it’s bullshit or not, and I assumed that in no country would insurance companies concur to actually lose money.
the problem here is that automobile owners believe they are partially paying for the biker’s insurance, and therefore support the position of the companies.

What automobile insurance companies only ask for 3 year driving history, compared to 5 years?
I am currently with Nationwide, have been for over 4 years now, and am looking to see if there is anything cheaper out there. The rates aren’t too bad but I am always looking to save. I have been violation and accident free for 3 years but not quite 5 years yet. Nationwide only requires 3 years and I cannot find any others.
Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!
