Driving on someone elses automobile insurance?
I’m 18 and shopping for automobile insurance and the quotes are ridiculous, (like 280 a month for minimal coverage). However would it be possible/legal to have my girlfriend who is 20 and in college be the legal owner of the automobile and have the automobile under her policy, but I drive it daily and still be covered?
The insurance quotes for her are MUCH cheaper, like (40 a month). The reason I am asking is because a friend of mine told me that as long as the automobile I am driving is insured by someone, and I am driving with their consent, I am insured. Is this true?

What are Ohio’s laws regarding driving outside of time allotted for limited privileges?
My license was suspended due to lack of automobile insurance and I was allowed limited driving privileges. I had to drive outside of the allotted time due to circumstances beyond my control. I was pulled over. What happens next? Will I absolutely lose my driving privileges? My car? The only information I can find on the web pertains to those whose license were suspended due to dui, mine was for lack of automobile insurance.

I recently got my TLC (Taxi and Limo Commision License). I want to work driving automobile service/cab in Brooklyn NY, however I do not know what auto insurance companies offer insurance for driving automobile service/taxi/etc? Here’s the situation: My sister-in-law has been driving my mother-in-law’s automobile for about a year now. My mother-in-law wants to cancel the insurance on the automobile and make my sister-in-law get her own. The trouble is, my sister-in-law is pretty worthless and is very likely to just drive it without the insurance and hope for the best. If my sister-in-law were to get in an accident, would my mother-in-law be responsible because she is the title holder? I read somewhere on the web that she would be responsible unless she made a statement and went to court to testify that she was not the one driving the car. But is there any kind of liability if she is allowing my sister-in-law to continue to drive the vehicle, if she knows it’s not insured?
