Can I still get my sticker and registration even if my automobile did not pass smog?
I live in California. I paid my registration on the web and on time, however my automobile did not pass smog, I have insurance and everything. I sent in an application for the CAP program but I have to wait six weeks and by then my stickers will be out of date.
My registration date nov 12th and I sent in my CAP application on that day, my sticker will be good until Dec 12th? I should get a letter from CAP before then?

I would like to purchase automobile insurance after the fact only, since it’s no fun paying premiums only to never have an accident. What I would like is Comrade Obama to mandate that evil, for profit automobile insurance companies take on my risk of accident for zero premium in return. Then, when I do have an accident, I can purchase the policy and get the damage taken care of. Is not that only fair? After all, profits are evil right?

Is it necessary to purchase Rental Automobile Insurance even though i have my automobile insurance policy with me?
I have a automobile and have taken Auto insurance for it.
Now my question is if i take a rental car, then my auto insurance policy for my automobile covers it or i need to take separate insurance for the rental car? When i took the auto insurance policy, they have taken my automobile details and its present in the insurance card also.
If i need to take insurance for rental car, what type of insurance do i need to take excluding my auto insurance policy coverage that applies to all cars?
Also if i am driving someone else car, will my insurance cover if there is any accident i have made?
