I happen to be an insurance agent licensed in Florida, and I know rates are going up everywhere in the state. I hate to state this but, for a person who is over 70, the rates are not good. Some insurance companies will not even bother writing any business for the elderly. If they do, rates will be sky high regardless of driving history. If you do find a rate that is too good to be true compared to other quotes you have received, it probably is. Bottom line is, you are screwed. Move to Arizona.

insurance protects you against financial loss if you have an accident. It is a contract between you and the insurance company. You concur to pay the premium and the insurance company concurs to pay your losses as defined in your policy.

The ideal thing to do is shop around, on the web as well. So much depends on many questions, it’s difficult to state who would be cheaper. For myself and family, we have AARP, prior to this, I have had NationWide, Progressive, AIG, StateFarm, so make some calls and comparison shop. Good luck.

If it was me, i would stay where i was insured until they found out. If you put it out there im sure they will be alerted. just a guess.

What, you are a bad driver and you think you can continue to hide it? Not a hope in heck. If you change insurers, you have to answer a question about any accidents, at fault or not, in the last 3 or 5 years. Lie, and it comes out when you make a claim, your claim will be denied.
Your present insurer might or might not ask you for a new disclosure, and they might or might not check public records on accidents. However, after that one accident, there is an excellent chance they will.
Don’t change companies, your rate MAY go up.
Change companies, it will either go up or you will have your insurance summarily cancelled/claim denied for failure to disclose a material fact.

Learn to drive, and do not try to game the system or the system might bite you back huge time.

All claims get into a central Database called ISO. Do not lie.Remember in this time and age, anything you state or do, gets recorded somewhere and is available to any one at click of a mouse

Crap insurance, is the one with the cheapest rates. No insurance has the cheapest rates for everyone, and the cheapest ones are the ones with the least coverage.

There’s no short cut. You have to shop around.

Probably not. Amica is one of the cheapest companies. If Amica is asking for $ 55 per month, which is high for Amica, then either (a) you are under 25, (b) you live in a place where insurance is costly for everyone, or (c) something about your driving records makes it impossible for any company to offer you cheap insurance. If any of these three reasons is why Amica quoted you so high, then you can’t get cheap insurance from any company. However, if the reason why these two quotes were high is your credit score, then you can get cheaper insurance from a company that does not use credit scores.

your ideal bet is to go to the bus station. 500-700 a month is average for your record theres no getting around it unless you get a family member just to get insurance for your automobile and you drive it and pay for the insurance. so you pay regular costs under who evers name.

You have a bad driving record, and a history of not following the rules (driving while your license was suspended) You are a very high risk to get into a collision, and as such, the cost of insurance will reflect the risk.

An SR- 22 is a Certificate of Financial Responsibility, which the say requires to prove that you have insurance. When you have a bad history, the say will not grant you to just say you have insurance, they require that you provide proof as a condition of having your driving privileges

You are going to have a hard time getting reasonably priced insurance, because of the risk that the insurance company is taking in covering you. No company really wants to insure high risk drivers, because they usually loose money on those drivers.

You don’t. The consequence of the behavior you selected to do is 36 months worth of high insurance rates, and a bad driving record.

An SR-22, also called a Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR), is a certificate mandated by the say and provided by your auto insurance company that verifies that you have auto insurance liability coverage.

The SR-22 is also a promise to the say from your insurance that they will notify the say immediately if there is a lapse in coverage, and if there is, they will revoke your license.

Check with smaller inland insurance company’s. The nationwide majors have been hit with numerous natural disasters and have to raise there rates to help cover there losses

I live in texas and our documents are on the say website. Try googling california auto title transfer form and see what that brings up.

You cannot be rid of the responsibility of the car, without turning the title over to the new owner.

So he needs to hand you the title, and sign the back of it over to you. Then you need a new title application, which you can get on the web at the CA DMV website. Then you pay taxes, transfer fees, and the new title fee.

But there is no “title transfer form”. Or rather, the transfer form is on the back of the original title.

If you are in Ca, go to the Ca DMV website, some forms will be available online, some will not. It looks like he wants you to transfer title on a vehicle, you do not provide much info beyond that, so it’s ideal you check the website for the process.
