College Student transferring from VA to SC – do I have to get new automobile insurance?
I am a college student in Virginia and in August I will be transferring down south to South Carolina (USC). I have a great automobile insurance quote at the moment. Geico would give me around $ 155/month just like esurance, progressive and the like. Though, the local statefarm bureau stated they had give me a quote for half that much. Is there a way that I can keep my Virginia Insurance in South Carolina? I doubt that I will ever get a quote like that again in a huge college town.

Plan to switch from Liberty Mutual to Amica – Auto Insurance – Need Help?
Presently I pay $ 109 to Liberty Mutual per month towards my automobile insurance. I have 2002 Nissan Sentra 83 K miles. I have taken 100/300, 50K property damage and 500 for collision and comprehensive. Also Roadside assistance and automobile rental $ 30/$ 900. Feel bad that I pay a lot for this old car.
Just got an on the web quote from Amica. They quote me $ 90 per month for the same configuration which I presently have. Is Amica reliable auto insurance provider with respective to claims?
Does Amica Auto Insurance cover insurer’s rental automobile (car rented from Enterprise, hertz)? I could not find this information from their website.

Can I register my automobile in a different say from what my license says?
I am originally from massachusetts (technically still a permanent resident) and go to graduate school in Indiana (where I spend most of my time during the year). However, right now during my summer break I am and will be in New Jersey. Is it possible for me to register my automobile in Indiana to take advantage of the insurance premiums?
