a) Pay the fine and take the Defensive driving course – It doesn’t go on your driving record
b) Go to court and gamble – if the officer shows up you pay and it goes on your record, your auto insurance goes up- if the officer doesn’t show up you record remains clean, you do not pay – case dismissed

Getting a automobile insured in Hoboken is very costly ($ 750 for 6 months). Some of my friends use their friends address (Say Edison address) and get much cheaper quotes. What are the risks in doing this? My friend also had a claim with no problems (but it was a minor claim).

The problem is, I work from 9 am to 9pm M-Sat and do not have the time to call someone about insurance quotes. I went on the web and searched for non-owner sr22 and the first thing any site wants to know other than your name is what kind of automobile you drive. My automobile doesn’t work. To save money I parked it while I saved up and two children smashed it up. They do not have any money to fix it so I am out of luck there. I lost my license 3 years ago in a different incident and need to get it back so I can find something to rent or borrow or something to get a superior paying job.

I just got a “ballpark estimate” on the web for automobile insurance and they wanted $ 450 a month for Basic coverage. Im only 20 so figured it would be high but that price is just insane. Anyway I counted my pbj (speeding) as a violation and only got in one fender bender (my fault but not a lot of damage) I dont have any points on my license, so do you think that price is close to right or do you only count stuff if it goes against your license?

I’m 19, my automobile insurance now is under my parents name and they pay for it. I want to by a Mustang and I want to pay for the insurance myself. So do I go see an agent? Or do it online? I tried to get a quote on the web and I am not sure how to answer certain questions…..I DID get in an accident 3 years ago but my insurance company never caught me on it, so will they find out if I try to get my own insurance now? Should I use a different company to not get caught and have to pay higher rates?

How do I stop getting stressed dealing with automobile insurance after wreck?
I am having to phone AllState again and again after I was in a automobile wreck, as they stated they would pay for the automobile damage but they keep trying to avoid paying. I am getting so stressed by the phone calls – and I was hurt so the whole thing is a real pain in the neck (feeble attempt at joke…). How can I reduce the stress (don’t state massage or yoga please!!!!!). Should I get an attorney? Or is there some way to be firm but polite on the phone while I ask for what is rightfully due (from what I have heard about automobile insurance after a wreck). Any clues how to deal with the evil insurance adjuster on the end of the phone? This is really upsetting me, and it was bad enough being in the wreck.
