AUTO INSURANCE COVERAGE — HOW MUCH LIABILITY AND MEDICAL?
Dec 23rd
Question by QueAndAy:
Auto Insurance coverage — How much Liability and Medical?
I got a couple of questions about about auto insurance coverage. Namely, what is the ideal amount of liability and medical coverage to select. 1) For the liability, I know it’s wise to get the ideal liability that one can afford to cover your assets. But how about if one also gets umbrella coverage. For example, if one gets an umbrella coverage at a $ 2 million limit and the liability limit for the auto insuarance is $ 300,000 or $ 500,000, does it make sense to choose the $ 500,000 or is it superior to choose the $ 300,000 limit since the umbrella coverage would kick in? 2) for medical, is this redundant coverage and not needed because would not the liability portion also cover medical expenses? Or is it wise to get this, for example, if a passenger is not insured (no health insurance), so the medical part would help out in that case?
Thanks.

HOW CAN I LOCATE A PROFESSIONAL TO PROVIDE A MEDICAL DISABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR AN INSURANCE SETTLEMENT?
Mar 30th
Question by DaveLandon:
How can I locate a professional to provide a medical disability assessment for an insurance settlement?
I need to find an independent, qualified person/service to provide expert testimony for an insurance settlement case. Specifically, to provide an assessment of the nature, extent, and prognosis of injuries I sustained in an auto accident – with the possibility of using this information if the case goes to court. I have looked on the web for “disability assessments”, “disability profiles”, etc., but am not finding anything in my local area (Portland, Oregon). Any suggestions?

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO HAVE MEDICAL EXPENSES ADDED TO YOUR CAR INSURANCE POLICY?
Nov 1st
Question by Misty:
How important is it to have Medical Expenses added to your automobile insurance policy?
I was told to reduce my monthly automobile insurance payments a tiny I could remove that. I was told that your medical insurance would kick in to pay for any injuries, or if someone was with you theirs would kick in. They stated that automobile insurance would be a secondary to your medical insurance. Has anyone ever got good use out of having this on their insurance policy??

HOW DID MEDICAL INSURANCE COME TO COVER BASIC MAINTENANCE,WHEN OTHER INSURANCE LIKE AUTO AND HOME OWNERS?
Sep 5th
Question by Ryde-On:
How did medical insurance come to cover basic maintenance, when other insurance like auto and home owners?
only cover catastrophic loss.
Can you envision what your auto insurance would cost if you made a claim each time you got a flat or a tune up ?
Or what your home owners insurance would cost if you made a claim each time a light bulb burned out or you wanted your carpet cleaned ?
Maybe that is the reason medical insurance premiums are so high ?

Aug 12th
Question by gramhottie:
How can I get my auto insurance to pay for medical treatment two years after accident?
I was treated right after the accident for whiplash. It’s in my medical records but then was unable to go to treatment for some time because of other problems but injury got worse now the chiropractor will not work on me because he states the insurance company will not usually pay after this time loss. Also the auto insurance company will not preauthorize treatment and I cannot afford the a visit co-pay required for using my health insurance. I am on Social Security.

WHEN WILL THE INSURANCE LOBBY FORCE US TO HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE LIKE THE DID AUTO INSURANCE?
Jul 19th
Question by ..???..:
When will the Insurance Lobby force us to have Medical insurance like the did Auto insurance?
Forced auto insurance, seat belt laws, helmet laws, child safety seats, laws and regulations, all brought upon us by insurance companies who use government regulation to maximize their profits.
Isn’t it only a matter of time before they get their friends in Washington to make Health Insurance Mandatory?
Or is that the republican plan for reform?

Q&A: WHEN CAR INSURANCE PAYS A MEDICAL CLAIM DO THEY SUBTRACT THE COST OF THE INJURED PARTIES INSURANCE PAYOUT?
Jul 17th
Question by Joe B:
When automobile insurance pays a medical claim do they subtract the cost of the hurt celebrations insurance payout?
I’m just curious when someone gets into a automobile accident, lets state someone gets injured. They sue for medical expenses and in scenario 1 their insurance pays for it. Can they still file a claim for the full amount of treatment since they pay for that insurance and no law forces them to have insurance OR would the insurance payout the price remaining, if any?
How does that work?
Just want to know for idle knowledge.
By insurance paying for it, I mean the hurt celebrations healh insurance.
