Answer by Suri
You can check http://car-insurance.tipsvilla.com for details.

Answer by BestYahooAnswers
i do not think that they might charge some thing special for their insurance. Anyway the fee would be for all.For fuel, driver, insurance ad for other expenses too.

Anyway its superior to ask from them directly.otherwise you will get in to a large problem as you thinks like this.all the bets.

Question by RPG:
Plan to switch from Liberty Mutual to Amica – Auto Insurance – Need Help?
Presently I pay $ 109 to Liberty Mutual per month towards my automobile insurance. I have 2002 Nissan Sentra 83 K miles. I have taken 100/300, 50K property damage and 500 for collision and comprehensive. Also Roadside assistance and automobile rental $ 30/$ 900. Feel bad that I pay a lot for this old car.

Just got an on the web quote from Amica. They quote me $ 90 per month for the same configuration which I presently have. Is Amica reliable auto insurance provider with respective to claims?

Does Amica Auto Insurance cover insurer’s rental automobile (car rented from Enterprise, hertz)? I could not find this information from their website.

Any suggestions/ help welcome. Thank you

——————————————

Answer by roger
be careful about getting quotes off the world wide web , often times it might change at a later date. Personally you can probably call the local yellow pages and ask agents local to you for a superior quote. I recommend if your insurance is paid up that you just let it run its course, anything you do to change in the middle of a policy ,may likely end up with excessive fees, and mistakes and excuses that eat up any savings you think you will get back, insurance companies do not like giving money back. I would set it up for the day the policy ends, and contact your insurance company at that time and cancel. They will want to know what company you are going with because they send letters to the motor cars now when you leave .

Answer by Entidtil
In the USA, All insurance companies are decent. If they were not, they would not be issued a license to sell insurance. You can check any insurance company specific satisfaction ratings on either A.M. Best, or J.D. Powers websites. You will have to ask Amica if they provide a rental.

Despite what others have stated here, There are no penalties and no problems and no reason you can’t cancel when you want to cancel.

Tip: It is ALWAYS more costly to pay for insurance monthly compared to semi-annually or annually. People who pay monthly are being “penny wise and pound foolish”.

Answer by G G
They are both good companies. You can cancel anytime you want to cancel without problems or financial loss. You do not need to let your present policy expire before you switch. There is no good reason to do that. Be careful of people giving you advice who have not a clue as to what they are speaking about. Any questions can ideal be answered by your present insurance company and by your prospective insurance company. Communicate with them.

——————————————

Question by Jerry Benson:
If you auto liability insurance is equal to your net worth would you ever need to pay out of pocket if sued?
Lets state my net worth was $ 100,000. If my Bodily Injury Liability insurance was $ 100,000 would that mean I would never have to pay out of pocket if somebody sued me due to a automobile accident?

Could I be sued for more that I own and still be forced to pay out of pocket? Or can I only be sued for what I have and the auto insurance will pay all of it?

——————————————

Answer by ronald h
Lets state you were negligent in a collision where a young mom or dad of two or three children died in the accident. You probably would be sued and a judgment rendered against you well in excess of your limits. Yes you would have to pay out of your pocket and if necessary, they could take nearly everything you own. If severely injured, medical alone could eat up $ 100,000.00 and you would still be sucking eggs.Talk to your insurance agent about an umbrella policy.r

Answer by Irv S
Your insurance covers, not limits, your liability.
If the liability exceeds the coverage, it comes out of your pocket,
or your hide.
If youv’e got $ 100K, pay the extra $ 50 a year, bump the liability
to $ 300K, and hope you never need to be happy you did it.

——————————————

Answer by Sonia
There are lots of people having the same question like you and yours is just another one. Basically talking about vehicle insuranceperson’s vehicle might cost you money out-of-pocket if you do not have adequate coverage and your vehicle insurance rate might go up.

Answer by Tom Larsen
Do a Yahoo search for insurance close to you. Then select an independent insurance broker who will shop the market for you. Let the experts do the work on your behalf and come up with the ideal rates.

Question by Mark Miger:
Do i need insurance to purchase a car?
I have been put in a crisis and am being forced to purchase my first automobile tommorrow. My father has purchased automobiles for me, but I have never owned one. I am buying my friends truck, which is past due on registration. Basically, I pay the late fees and the truck is mine. I however do not have insurance right now. I will get it ASAP but do not as of right now. I have been reading on the web and they all say, “No dealer will let you drive off the lot without insurance.” But none of them state if you are buying the automobile from a person, not a dealer. What do i do??

——————————————

Answer by Mark
if your buying from a person u dont need insurance to register it so dont worry about it if you purchase from a dealer they require insurance

Answer by pc.robert
You can purchase the automobile without insurance privatley but you are not going to be able to drive it.Hopefully you wont get into a wreck transpoting it to your house. You can borrow a plate from a friend to be on the QT while the sale is over to get it home. Insurance is a law. The only thing you can do without it is store it but what is the use of getting the automobile without insurance. Shop around after buying

Answer by D
My friend just purchased a used automobile here in California. He is still a student driver. He was able to register it to his name, no insurance needed , just smog certificate.

Answer by Queen B
stay away from on the web quotes. they are hardly ever correct. call a local independent agent. they will quote it for free. they write for a lot of companies and can find you the ideal coverage at the ideal rate. some specialize in people with bad driving records.

Question by Ariel:
My automobile is total loss. I am with 21st Insurance…and I need advice please.?
My automobile will be released this day from the collision center, after that I will have to speak with the Adjuster (BTW, I have no idea what this person will do).

I check on the web and my automobile has a Retail Value of $ 4,025; a Trade-In Value $ 2,600, and a Loan Value of $ 2,350. (My automobile is fully paid). The question is what amount could I anticipate from the Insurance Company?

Is it possible to negotiate with them. How?

THANK YOU

.

Answer by toocoolringlady
They will probably use their own book value. I have never had any luck negotiating with any auto insurance company , but it is always worth asking.

Answer by Beejee
Lordy’, lordy’ lordy!
I hope you have lot’s of time. Whatever you think – they will offer less or nothing.
Insurance company personnel are like a virgin’s mama giving advice: State “no” to start with. This is because a certain percentage of would-be suitors (customers) will just walk-away without a fight.

Read and comprehend your policy. Good luck.

Answer by Lisa
They will use none of those values. Insurance companies have their own “book” that they use to determine a cars value. And that is what they will pay you. There is some wiggle-room that you can try to negotiate, but not much. Btw, the adjustor will come out and look at the automobile to determine if it is totalled.

Question by howru112:
Do i need to keep auto insurance if moving out of USA for 3-4 months?
I am moving out of USA for 3-4 months and planning to keep my automobile at friends garage.Do i still need to keep auto insurance? Do i also need to cancel registration? I am staying in NJ
i am staying in nj
what if I cancel registration and tags before going out of USA? Once I come again.. i will do registration . Is it a good option ?

——————————————

Answer by mbrcatz
Are you keeping the tags on the car? Will anyone be driving? Do you trust your friend to NOT take that automobile anywhere? Is there a loan on the car? Do you mind if the automobile is stolen, or if the garage catches on fire and destroys your car?

If the answer to ANY of those questions is yes, then you need to keep insurance on the car.

Answer by SVT Cobra Lover
Many states,NC where I live included, require you to keep insurance as long as the registration is current. If you cancel your ins. policy the ins. co. notifies the say and they require you to turn in the tags. I guess it helps keep uninsured drivers off the road.

Answer by ANN R
To Be honest,It will take a tiny time to find the answer for the question of yours.have a look at the resource here http://www.CarInsuranceFree.info/free-car-insurance.htm for your reference .

——————————————

Answer by gbofo4x4
Well it was the automobile that was broken into, so your auto insurance should cover it if you have full coverage. Unless your automobile was in your garage, then I do not know.

——————————————
