I financed a automobile that I found online. When I received the paperwork, the title to the car was included. There was no leinholder mentioned. I still have the title and the leinholder (finance company) has not asked for the title. They have asked for proof of insurance. Legally, am I obligated to re-pay this loan since there is no leinholder noted? I know morally I am obligated and I have been current with my payments each month. I just want to know.

Is this motorcycle craigslist-add an on the web scam?
Im looking at buying a motorcycle from craigs list and the seller wants to go through the ebay buyer protection plan and ship through dependable auto shippers. I dont know how buyer protection works and i have never bought a automobile so i dont know how the system works. below are the emails she sent me in response to inquiring about the bike. Could someone tell me if this is a potential scam and if I will be protected through the buyer protection plan?
Seller speaking about the bike:
“Hi,
The bike has 2,289 miles, 1owner. It’s in perfect condition,no engine/electric problems,no accidents/liens/loans. no scratches,never been repainted.I have all the bike ‘s manuals,2 spare keys,title,documents.I’m selling the bike because my child of only 19 died 4 months ago in a automobile accident,a drunk driver hit him and his fiancee.He was with his fiance’s automobile coming to our home at his tiny brother birthday of 10 years old. I am selling it for this price because the UK registration taxes are to costly for me.

I currently own a ’01 BMW 3 series and a ’01 Mercedes S320 and have decided to sell the 3.2 litre Mercedes as I cannot justify forking out the exorbitant €1566 per annum road tax – and the 17-20 mpg is not an incentive to keep it either.
I just checked and the tax on your own 3 litre is not much cheaper.
I was actually just going back to my BMW until I saw your ad, and despite the high tax bracket I am still interested because it’s a more fuel economical diesel.
Maybe I could have a look at it as soon as suits you?
