I want to put major restrictions on my credit and personal info. Basically, I am swamped by all of the credit report info online. Can someone tell me if it’s possible to block all access to my credit, only allowing checks to be done with my explicit permission? I want a phone call/email if someone is trying to check my info without my knowledge! Long story short- Someone used my information to get auto insurance quotes, and it has hit my credit like 20 times in the past few months! I need to STOP credit checks, not just be notified when they happen. Thank you for any advice!

Is it possible to give automobile insurance benefits to my boyfriend?
Im going out of the country next week, I will not be coming back until the first few days of january. My boyfriend is currently staying at my home and he has no means of transportation. (He is 20 years old, and his automobile absolutely broke down–our location is Dallas TX.)
I was wondering if it was possible to “add” him under my dad’s automobile insurance plan, with him being a non-family member.

Cheap auto insurance, could this be possible?
Today I called several local auto insurance companies because I need insurance for my Taurus and I found some ok rates, how ever after doing a Google search I found a site called Auto Insurance Monster (www.AutoInsuranceMonster.com) and they had some reviews for several auto insurance companies.
After reading some of the articles I decided to get a quote from one of the insurance companies listed there.
After getting my quote I found that the rate was 17% lower than my local insurance company.
Are these rates real? could they be scams, the companies listed are always on tv and they have very professional websites, but I just can not believe the rates I found on Auto Insurance Monster.
Should I stay with my local insurer or go with the on the web services?

I’m 16 and about to get my license and have been looking for automobiles online. my parents stated i can have a a mustang V6 if i can save up for it (which i can) and yes, i realize insurance can be kinda high for mustangs but read somewhere that the 1996-2000 mustangs aren’t AS MUCH to insure. i was just wondering if anyone knew of what the ideal automobile insurance was for young drivers.

Hello,
I have just purchased a new automobile in a Toyota automobile dealer: They have found for me an insurance for the car, comparing with different insurance companies. But now at home, I am trying a quote with Geico, and it seems that I could probably get a superior price with this company (not absolutely sure, I need to call them).
Is it possible to cancel my signature as I did not receive the policy yet ? and I did not get my automobile yet (but tomorrow) ?
I do not know if here in USA we have the possibility during some days (one week for example) to retract ourself….

I have paid completely my automobile by cash, and I will take it probably tomorrow. I have signed all the documents for the automobile insurance today…. but I am hesitation to contact Geico company since they seem to do superior price for me….. I do not know if is possible to change right now….. and to cancel the first insurance (already paid for one full year).
