I have used Geico for years. I have been extremely satisfied with their service. However, my premium is still more than I want to pay. I got a quote for Progressive and it is considerably less. Anyone out there have Progressive and satisfied with them? How have they handled claims in the past?

What happens if you lie to a new automobile insurance provider?
I was cancelled for reasons out of my hands, apparently the insurance person did not record I had spoken to them during a conversation. So my broker cancelled my insurance.
Now everywhere I go they want to charge me a lot more for thsi cancellation and I cannot get through to my company to try to have the cancellation revoked.
What happens if I apply to another automobile insurance company and state i was not cancelled. I pay ontime there is nothing wrong, are they going to find out about the previous company somehow?

Does anyone know of an auto insurance provider that does not require a credit check in Vancouver, WA?
I switched from Progressive to Allstate on the web about a month ago. I started the policy and paid the premium. Now I get a letter from Allstate saying they are unable to carry a policy for me due to my poor credit. I am angry and completely disagree with my credit score having anything to do with my driving ability. I refuse to do business with any company that uses a credit score to determine auto insurance rates or availability.
