Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that any quote provided by a website like that will be valid. Unless you go to a specific insurance company’s website or talk to a licensed agent, you will be getting different numbers each time you ask! It could very well be it’s the end of the month or the companies had rate increases or the personal algorithm used by the website changed. I’d strongly recommend you go direct to the company to get your prices, and not rely on a site that quotes various companies.

first off, good luck, 2nd do pass plus which lowers ye insurance, go on another person’s insurance plan (cheaper a lot cheaper) only do these price comparison things ect after ye have passed for a superior precise price

Yes, I have dealt with all the major company’s.
One thing I must state tho is if you dont sign up with them they will continue to send you emails and junk mail in reguards to your current quote. Then some of them continue to send you junkmail for years.
GEICO sends me crap in the mail all the time. Probably 2 or 3 times a month been going on for years I just rip it up and throw it out. As far as the email is concerned I used a “new” yahoo account so I would not have my message box filled with crap. Sometimes they do call you about your quote and ask you what you want. In my experience if you dont give them all your ticket history, social security etc you wont have a 100% quote price. So you could sign up and it could be alittle more. Dont use fake information. Dont neglect to put in your tickets because you think they wont find out. THEY WILL! Especially with new customers. I personally like progressives website because you can see the competitors prices. How accurate they are I dont know? On the web quotes are usually cheapest, phone quotes can be alittle more, and if you goto your neighborhood rep its going to be considerably more because they are a middleman. Unless of course they are just starting out which they might cut you a break for new business.

Well, automobile insurance is based on your CREDIT score. So if you will not type in personal information, the quote will not be worth a piece of toilet paper.

Health insurance is based on your age and your health. So ditto.

A local, independent agent can get you multiple quotes with multiple companies. A more massive agent will be able to do both health and auto – many smaller agents do one or the other, but not both. Let an agent do your shopping for you. It will not cost you anything extra.

On one hand you can do whatever yo8u want. On the opther hand, it does not look really good if you move around to different cvompanies a lot. I’d advocate staying wioth your current insurer for at least 1 year and then look around. Insurance comanies like to see stability.

Did you contact your current carrier to find out why the rate went up so much? It is possible that the car is not being rated right. It is important to make sure that the following is correct on the policy: correct driver, correct deductibles, correct annual mileage, correct usage (work vs pleasure), and possible discounts (anti lock brakes, alarm, air bags, etc).

Many of the major insurance companies have an instant quote that gives you a estimated premium based on limited information. This might be an option for you instead of contacting a number of different carriers that will pull credit.

No, no one can find you “cheap insurance” at 16. No one can give you a quote without your social security number (don’t post it). No one can pick coverage limits for you.

If you do not have any insurance on the automobile itself, minimum liability only, you can pretty much bet on it costing you about $ 2,000 a year.

No one can quote a source. You did not provide anywhere near enough information for a REAL quote. AND, seeing as how the actual policy is not going to happen for a whole ‘nother year, it’s just an excercise, ya know?
