i ran a light and crashed into a car. i am 17 and do not drive, therefore i do not have auto insurance. am i covered by my parents’ coverage?
i’m wondering if it covers damage to the other vehicle?

Has anyone repaired a automobile windshield crack through their auto insurance?
I was driving on the freeway and a large rock hit my windshield. This left a chip about the size of a quarter and I am afraid it will continue to crack. Is this something I can get repaired and have it covered by my auto insurance (Mercury)? If anyone has experience, any advice would be great! Thanks!

It seems besides cell phones, automobile insurance is advertising the most these days. Each insurance is arguing you can save hundreds over their competitors. I feel that if you use the same premiums and standards in all policies, the costs will be close, so how are insurance companies getting away with saying their hundreds cheaper then others?
