Question About Reopening a Traffic Case: Traffic School Riverside County California? *10 Points* ASAP?
I got a traffic ticket in Temecula, Ca which is a part of Riverside county. I paid the fine as well as extra for Traffic School without going to court. I did this all on the web through the Better Court of California. They were suppose to send me the additional information on when to begin and how to complete the course to get the ticket removed from my record. I never got the information and to be honest I forgot until I got the insurance bill and my auto rate jumped $ 100 for loosing my good driver discount. I went to the Traffic Court and they stated I needed to write a letter asking the judge to re-open my case. I am unsure about what it should state and what needs to all be in it. Can someone please answer all three questions below? 10 Points!
What should the letter say?
How should I format it?
Is they any good web forms?

I got a ticket for having alcohol on the beach, do I need to go to traffic school?
A couple of friends and I were drinking some beers on Seacliff Beach in Santa Cruz when a cop busted us. He was fairly cool about it and instead of ticketing us all, he just ticketed me. I took responsibility as I was the oldest one there.
I tried to pay the ticket on the web and when I got to the payment amount section it asked me if I wanted to go to traffic school for an extra $ 49 not including the cost of the traffic school!
I did not know that having alcohol on the beach meant going to traffic school!!
Will this really affect my auto insurance if I do not to traffic school? How does having alcohol on the beach have anything to do with my driving?
That was one costly beer….

With the UK insurance companies, they ask you whether you have been involved in some sort of traffic offense (such as overspeeding) in the past 5 years when requesting a automobile insurance quote. Supposing at the time of signing up you were not involved in anything of the sort and a couple of months down the line, you happen to have gotten involved in such an incident (such as overspeeding, and you were given a fixed penalty and fine); do you need to contact your insurance company to let them know, or can you hold off until you are renewing or requesting an insurance quote?
