I’m being sued for an auto accident that happened two years ago. The lawsuit has dragged on for all this time with not much communication from my insurance company. We had our depositions. Now, today, I received a letter from my insurance company instructing me to sign an affidavit stating that I had no excess insurance (in addition to my policy with this company) at the time of the accident. My question is, why do they want this from me? Why now?

Child Insurance:I want to get my child automobile insurance set up soon. Is one company superior than another?
I have been looking in to my options for getting my child insurance online. I have found a great site for companies offering coverage in my area, http://www.childinsure.com but I am not sure which of the companies provides the most flexibility when insuring children. Does anyone have an view or experience one way or another with respect to this situation? For example, I know some companies will provide my child auto insurance without them having taken driver’s education. Thanks.

i’m looking into getting a new automobile and the cost of insurance on them will help determine which i get or if i keep my current car. i’ve tried to get quotes on the web but they usually want my license number or want to call me and tell me the quotes. i just want to know approximately how much it will be for these cars.
