what is the penalty for driving without auto insurance?
I was late on my auto insurance payment for a month b/c i did not have enough money to pay. The insurance just cancel my policy. I will the insurance as soon as i have money.

in georgia they impound your automobile and pay a massive fine then make you get hirisk insurance which u carry for a year pretty steep costs

Can a automobile insurance provider cancel your insurance quote, without giving a refund?
I recently renewed my automobile insurance with the Cooperative, I was charged and thought I was insured. After a few days I received a letter from the cooperative saying they have decided to terminate the insurance quote. If i want to know why I have to write a letter. After noticing Ive been charged and not given back a refund, I called and asked why this is. They stated they wont refund the money, and all I could do is appeal for the money! They stated the appeal has to be a letter sent to them, not email.

Can they do this? Not only did they refuse to insure me (when they have done for so many years now), then they sent a letter saying they have decided to terminate it, without giving a reason, and they dont even mention anything about the money theyv charged me, I had to call in, and they tell me they wont refund the money?????
Yes sorry I mean insurance policy, and I was charged and the money taken from my account.
They cancelled it after a few days, so i should be entitled to the full refund? Also i live in the UK.

How can they terminate a “quote” ? I believe You mean that they terminated your coverage or your policy with them.
Since you do not mention what country you live in, it will be difficult for anyone to give you an answer.
In the USA, Any insurance company might cancel an insured anytime they desire, for any reason they desire. However, when/if they cancel, the remaining premium (if any) would be returned to the insured.

Under bylaws and privacy laws you would not be able to get that information. You can however let them know it wasnt you, and maybe have a security question for anything related to you, so if someone cant answer the question its obviously not you (i know you didnt sing up for the policy what im getting at is let them know if anyone states they are you and tries to open more policies they wont be able to without a security feature.) It is illegal for whom ever did this, You can also report it to local police departments and they can investigate from the insurance companies. Good luck

I highly doubt if u can get their IP address or any other information for that matter. But whoever it was, is just a childish person and they cannot actually get insurance in your name without having all of your information and automobile info. Block the number on your cell or tell the insurance company that you are not interesed and you did not ask for a quote.

It is not going to be on the web site – each policy is different..some folks opt for low deductibles and higher premiums and some vice versa. Look at your policy or call your agent.

I believe he can put you on the insurance if you have temporaries but you have to have these or your license.

I doubt it, and there is no reason to–if you are not drivng, you do not need to be insured.

As long as you are totally sure that Geico covers anything that might happen to your automobile while being transported by a third party. Otherwise do not scrimp and get the extra insurance.

So I am a 16 year old driver. my family has three cars. a lexus GX470, a Toyota Land Cruiser, and a saturn sky. I am insured on the Toyota and not the saturn because the difference insurance increases. ($ 75 compared to around $ 250) Can I drive the saturn and the lexus without being insured on those cars? And if so what are the limitations.

You can’t drive (legally) without being insured. You will get a ticket if caught. And a heck of a lot of trouble if something happens.

If you do drive without insurance, you should be verrryyy careful.
